4 laps and 110km, start time 9:30am, blue skies and SUN

It was a rolly course with fairly rough pavement. The feed zone was at about 13.5 km, and the QOM was at about 18.5 km. Shortly after the feed zone, the road kicked up for a few kms, then turned right onto a fast and somewhat technical descent, which ended with a sharp left hander into a park, where the QOM climb switch backed up.

Some good news, some bad news.

After Janel threw down a smoking TT with 10th place, she again was riding wicked strong. Erinne was off the front for 2 laps sans High Road. High Road had the only motivated chasers, and they got tired from the 2 lap chase. Finally, when Erinne's group was caught, Janel busted a money move, zoomed up the climb, and quickly had a 30 second gap all by her lonesome. However, taking the left hander into the park too hot, she either scraped her pedal or washed out on the sand. She's still in the hospital getting the road rash taken care of. But, her collar bone is broken. It was a break similar to Katheryn's, fairly clean and still somewhat in tact. Hopefully she won't need surgery. The girl's strong as an ox. Think healing thoughts.

Alex rode a wicked race, finishing second behind Kat Carroll. Christine led Alex to Kat's wheel, but Kat's a racehorse and Alex couldn't get passed the powerhouse. Alex is now sitting pretty 3rd in GC.

Criterium tomorrow...picture us rollin'
