Movin' up a placing day by day!
Today was the criterium in downtown Redlands. Wicked course. It was a figure 8 and the corners were awesome. It took a while for me to get into the swing of things, but by the 30 minute time bonus, we had built up a green train for Alex to take some seconds. Mooch kept laying down the attacks and Erinne was there to counter. I went for a prime for two hundies...jackpot. With two to go, Erinne drilled it at the front and got Gina and Alex up there. Gina led Alex beautifully through the final lap, and Alex took second, which puts her in 2nd in GC, 11 seconds behind Mara. VB teammate, Anna Milkowski had a rough day yesterday with a flat in the first 100 meters of the race. She redeemed herself today by taking a $250 prime toward Rock & Republic jeans, then flew solo for a few laps. If you know Anna at all, you gotta know she's stoked about the jeans.
Tomorrow is the Sunset Road Race. We're hoping to stay steady with the moving up trend!
